Return to the hotel and night halt

Your next destination will be Munnar – a hill station that is a 3 hour’sdrive from Cochin. A visit to the oldest spice and tea plantations is on the cards once your reach Munnar post afternoon. The most special feature about this hill station is that you will experience the joy of touring the place in a tuk-tuk. Dams like Kundala and Mattupetty, Echo Point and an elephant ride will also be squeezed in this half day tour. Attractive backdrop with outlandish locates will welcome you as you travel around this exquisite hill station and give you a genuine glimpse of the Indian antiquity.
Return to the hotel in Cochin and night halt.

You will be at ease to leave for your next terminus –Periyar National Park. It will take around four hours to reach by car as the distance is no more than 160 km. You will be escorted to the pre-booked lodge where you will spend the night and conserve energy for the next day.

You will begin the day with light breakfast after which will set out to explore the wild life in the Periyar sanctuary. If you are an animal lover, you will experience eternal bliss as beautiful sights ofanimals like wild sambhar, barking deer, wild pigs, mouse deer,elephants and a variety of langoors, can be captured in the most natural environment doing their bit of daily chores. If you are reallylucky then you might spot a tiger or a NIlgiri Tahr(this wild beast is nearing annihilation). This reserveis bordered by Periyar Lake. A boat ride on the same is not only enjoyable but also a feast toyour eyes. A herd of elephants on the Periyar banks is the epitome of wild life in itsnatural glory. After an exhilarating experience return to the loge and overnight stay.

You will set out for Backwaters late in the afternoon by a car that will take you around four hours to reach. Our representatives will greet you and help you to settle down for the night.

You will begin the day with a light breakfast in the morning after which you can set off for sailing in a ‘kettuvellom’ or a houseboat in the prime locality of Kerala backwaters and adore every facet to this expedition, whether it is the fun of navigating in a house boat, simply bird watching or viewing nature in its peak. You will return to your lodgings after the exotic cruise down the river.

Kovalam is a shoreline town that is a four hour drive form back waters, consequently you can leave at your own free will. Our attendants will be at your service once you reach Kovalam and settle you in your pre booked hotel. Night halt at the hotel

These three days are there at your disposal to roam and explore this beach town, sunbathe, indulge in revelry after sunset in your own sweet time.
