You will begin the day with a traditional south Indian breakfast followed by a full day tour of Cochin, (Kochi is the modern name).This harbour town is blessed with exotic locales in the form of expansive shore lines and aboriginal erections like,Fort Cochin-a famous beach, Jewish synagogue,the Cherai beach, St Francis Church –the oldest church in cochin, Lulu shopping mall, and so on. Please be assuredthat you will be visiting each one of them with ample time to explore. Your evening will be reserved for a cultural performance of kathakali dance by the local people who have become proficient in this art through generations.

The distance between Cochin and backwaters is roughly 4hours so you can leave as per your convenience. A houseboat will be waiting for you at the banks , that will enable you to explore the surroundings of backwaters. Transfer to houseboat for overnight stay.

You will be get a cruise like feeling as you enjoy the picturesque beauty that nature has to offer. Sailing through the backwaters will also give you the opportunity of bird watching along with scenic beauty. Overnight in the houseboat.

Ones you disembark drive to Kovalam which is just a four hours’ drive from backwaters. This destination is a beautiful harbour city that has plenty to explore. On reaching this city, our representatives from Global Travels will attend to you and arrange for hotel transfers. Night stay in the hotel

These four days our attendants will be there at your disposal to provide you all kinds of assistance in discovering this beautiful city. So if you wish to indulge in sunbathing on the beach, enjoy a barbecue night there or indulging in water sports, then kovalam is the place to be.

After an exhilarating stint, on the 10th day, to proceed to the onwards journey you will be transported to the Trivandrum airport by our helpful staff at the Global Travels.
