Upon arrival in Delhi international airport. A representative will be waiting for you inside the arrival terminal visitor place, holding a placard. Meet upon arrival and transfer to your Hotel for check-in. Spend overnight at you’re the hotel.
Day 02
Early morning transfer to airport to board flight for Leh. Our Representative will then escort you to your pre-booked hotel situated in the central part of the city. The day will be spent in complete rest to acclimatize you in this high altitude region. In the evening you will take a light stroll to the market. O/N in hotel.
Day 03
Today we visit the ancient monasteries of Shey, with its enormous statue of the Buddha and Thikse Monastery, known as one of the most important Gompas known in Central Ladakh. The monastery has some beautiful paintings and gilded statues of the Buddha. In the afternoon we drive down to the most wealth and famous monastery known locally as Hemis. Built in the 17th century, the monastery is tucked away in a secluded grove of poplars and is known for its interesting architecture and wall studded murals. We return back to the hotel in the evening. O/N in hotel.
Day 04
Today You will explore the monasteries of Spituk and Phyang in the morning. You will also drive to the Tibetan Children’s village and the Stok Palace. Overnight in hotel.
Day 05
Drive to Chilling (03 hrs – 3250 m) one of the famous villages in Ladakh, known for craftsmanship especially metal works. In the afternoon meet your trekking crew and prepare for the mission ahead. Overnight in local home/camp.
Day 06
Trek to Skiu (05 hrs – 3400 m). This is a easy and gradual walking with ups and down and arrive in the valley of Markha and then after few hundred meters further will reach Skiu. Overnight in Tents.
Day 07
Trek to Markha (07 hrs – 3630 m). After an early breakfast trek (8 hrs) to Markha. From Skiu, follow a good path on the right bank of Markha where one can find great vegetation. Then cross right bank of river and cross through barren plain and arrive at Chaluk. There after walk along the left bank of river and after another crossing climb towards Markha village. Good camp site beyond the village and near the river. Overnight stay in tent.
Day 08
Trek to Tahungtse (07 hrs – 4150 m). Breakfast at camp. Trek to Tchatchutse (7/8 Hrs). Start trek towards the main valley on the right bank. The path is sometimes difficult in the river bed and pass the monastery of Humlung. Then carry on trek along the right bank and arrive in Hankar where there are several houses. The path improves and cross a broad valley on the right side. The valley becomes narrow and higher and cross bridges on to the left bank and then reaches Tchatchuste. Overnight stay in tents.
Day 09
Trek to Nimaling (05 hrs – 4700 m). Today is the short trek (3Hrs). Trek starts on good path and several small inclines. The river is rather far to the other side and walk near a small lake, then cross pasture to Nimaling. This is one of most beautiful high valleys in Ladakh dominated by the Kang Yaze. Trek ascent towards other side and gradually reach Nimaling. Overnight stay in tents.
Day 10
Rest day in Nimaling.
Day 11
Trek to Chukirmo (07 hrs – 4160 m). Cross the Markha valley and follow long climb along the mountain side, then zig zag road leads towards Kongmarula. Follow steep descent into gorges and then keep walking on the left bank to Chukirmo. Thereafter crossing right and left bank and arrive Shang, a beautiful camp in groves and there is a monastery an hour away from the village. Overnight in tents.
Day 12
Trek to Trek to Shang Phu (07 hrs – 4365 m). Trek to Shang Phu will take about 5 hrs, trek along the Shang village for first half then enter into a narrow gorge to get to the campsite. On the way you will pass one Lato the protector deity of the area. O/N in tent.
Day 13
Trek to Ghangpoche (07 hrs – 4435 m)
Day 14
Trek to Stok Kangri base camp (07 hrs – 5000 m). Today we follow the busy trail upto the Stok Kangri base camp. It’s a day with gradual ascent upto the camp site. The base camp is on the Big meadow and is usually full of climbers from all parts of the world. O/N in Camp.
Day 15
Acclimatization day at base camp.
Day 16
Climb stok kangri. Our route initially crosses scree and boulder slopes, and then leads to easy angled snow slopes, which require ice axe and crampons. The route is not difficult but at this altitude, it will be strenuous. From the summit of Stok Kangri (6116m), we should see as far as the Karakoram, the Pamirs and Tibet. If it’s warm enough we’ll rest and recover some energy on top before descending to base-camp. O/N in Camp.
Day 17
Extra day. This day we keep incase we are not been able to summit the day before due to bad weather.
Day 18
Trek down to stok village and then drive back to Leh. All downhill and through wild gorge scenery. There should be time to visit Stok Palace and museum while we wait for our jeeps. Then an hour’s drive across the Indus valley to the hotel in Leh.

Fly back to Delhi. Optional sightseeing tour of Delhi. Overnight in Delhi
